Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using VietRoute, you agree to the terms below. If you don't agree, please stop using the service.

2. Service description

VietRoute provides a tool for drawing and simulating self-drive road-trip journeys ('Create a journey'), with saving, editing, and sharing via a public link - with or without an account. Some features (saving a journey to your account, higher-resolution unmarked video export) require signing in or upgrading to a paid plan.

3. User accounts

You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Content you create

The journeys you draw and save are yours. When you create a share link, you grant VietRoute permission to store and display that journey to anyone holding the link - exactly how the sharing feature is meant to work. You can delete a saved journey at any time from 'My routes'; deletion is permanent.

5. Paid plans & payment

Paid-plan prices are listed in Vietnamese đồng (VND) on the Pricing page and don't change with display language. Payment is processed via our partner, SePay. Each upgrade is a separate transaction that activates entitlement for 30 days from successful payment (or extends your current expiry if you renew before it lapses) - VietRoute does not auto-charge on a recurring schedule.

6. Refund policy

Because a paid plan activates its entitlements immediately on successful payment (higher-resolution export, no watermark), we don't refund completed transactions, except when: (a) you were charged more than once for the same upgrade due to a technical error, or (b) paid entitlements never activated despite a successful transaction.

If either applies, contact us within 7 days of payment with your order code so we can resolve it.

7. Third-party map data

The map background uses OpenStreetMap data, served via OpenFreeMap - a free, 'as-is' service with no uptime guarantee. VietRoute does not control, and is not responsible for, map data accuracy or outages originating from these services.

8. Prohibited conduct

• Using the service to violate applicable law.
• Attempting unauthorised access to our systems, other accounts, or data that isn't yours.
• Spamming, distributing malware, or abusing the sharing feature to distribute unlawful content.

9. Limitation of liability

The service is provided 'as-is'. To the extent permitted by law, VietRoute is not liable for indirect damages arising from use or inability to use the service, including outages originating from third parties (maps, payment, email).

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam.
